There were 8 Target ad wraps on the Red Line, including car 2934 seen at Armitage on February 8, 2002. The dominant colors of the wrap, which is only on the car side and does not continue around the ends, is red and white. In addition to the white targets (Target's store logo), there are also two images of women wearing white pants and red tank tops with white targets hula-hooping. There were also other designs with a child wearing roller skates and a child hula-hooping. (Photos by Graham Garfield)

A harbinger of things to come: Although this 54/Cermak Blue Line train led by rehabbed car 3039 seems to be pulling into the new Laramie discharge platform, it will actually continue through to the old 54/Cermak Terminal. The temporary Laramie terminal would not be activated for a little over week after this February 8, 2002 view. (Photo by Graham Garfield)

A train of 2600-series cars, with car 2716 in the middle, stops at the remodeled Adams/Wabash station circa 1990. The Adams station had just been remodeled -- including the widening of the platform, installation of new signs and clear plexiglas canopy roofing -- with work completed about a year before.
